It’s nearly winter, and I can’t get enough of this time of year 😍. People are more smiley and patient, it’s almost acceptable to drink at all times in the day (actually, that may account for the smiles). All this, and you get to wear cute bobble hats, matching scarves and big snuggly coats.
I’m obsessed with any winter-related scenario, mainly because these awesome activities provide an opportunity to wear some adorably cute winter outfits. Like most normal humans (especially girls) I can’t stand being cold. That’s probably why my wintery looks consist of layers, cute hats and some sort of faux fur to try and keep things on the chic side of warm. Today I visited my favourite London Ice Rink SOMERSET HOUSE with my gorgeous man and it was a great excuse to wear some cosy winter pieces. I am obsessed with the colour camel at the moment, and I love creating an outfit based on one main colour palette. This look takes the matchy-matchy vibe to a different level. The bobble hat is from TOPSHOP where they have a handsome array of different coloured headwear. These ones in particular don’t tend to cause that whole static hair situation which is 50 shades of annoying if you want to step into a nice bar after a winter activity. The scarf and coat are both ZARA and match like an autumn dream.
I saw a couple of gorgeous pink coats tearing round the ice today, and I have to say, I reckon a cute pink matchy combo would look stunning with some grey jeans. I think the look works best when the tones are almost an exact match.
