Tulle Tuesdays

Floaty, elegant, flowy; there is something so Princess-y about tulle and sheer fabric. And, let’s be honest, ever since Patricia Field styled Carrie Bradshaw in a tutu on the opening credits of Sex and the City this fabric has been more wearable. It’s not just for teeny ballerinas and 5 yr olds playing dress up anymore my friends 😍

I saw this dress online in the RESERVED sale and snapped it up. I love the way it enhances the silhouette and nips in at the waist.

I absolutely adore adding something unique to an otherwise ordinary look, and this latest addition to my wardrobe is much more versatile than you think. Here I styled it with grey jeans and a grey roll neck to keep the colour scheme simple and let the dress talk for itself. I think this helps to play the outfit down.

I love the way you can see right through this sheer fabric. Although I’ve paired it with jeans this time, it would look super cute with a shorter skirt or shorts when the weather starts to pick up. Adding light fabrics to an outfit is also a great way to start the transition from your winter wardrobe into spring. 🌸

Below I’ve added a link to the exact dress in the sale and some other tulle pieces on the high street, check them out.

Hope you’re all having a good start to the week!
